Abstract
A scholarly article on the emerging European copyright regime and the conflict between copyright protection and European competition regulations. The article introduces Treaty of Rome provisions, {EU} regulations, national legislation and court decisions that clarify, and sometimes confuse, the interface between copyright and competition.
